Students dissecting a sheep brain.

L F students and students studying high school Anatomy & Physiology have visited HCC twice this semester to perform some advanced Anatomy and Physiology experiments at the Dale Mabry campus. They determined blood types, grew microorganisms from their skin, and dissected sheep brains.

The visits were made possible by Dr. Peter Germroth (HCC faculty).

Each year this program donates more than 35,000 books to children from low-income families. We are delighted to have been able to contribute to the book drive. Thank you to all the families who donated and a special thank you to junior Alexander Pogrebniak for organizing and publicizing the even at Lee.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

In February 2017, Lee’s Upper School students visited this unique Hispanic country and explored its culture, wildlife, natural resources and environmental protection efforts. Students traveled to several beautiful parks, experienced volcanoes, waterfalls, bio-diverse rain-forests and an abundance of wildlife. There were also physical activities, such as white water rafting, canopy zip lines and bathing in thermal springs. Most importantly, students learned about the culture through contact with the locals, eating typical meals and participating in folkloric activities.

Parent Orientation Meeting is August 18th at 6pm.

Student Orientation is August 19th at 8:30am and classes begin on August 22nd.

Thank you to everyone who helped during our Campus Beautification Work Weekend on August 13-14!
